Explore the fundamentals of Ayurvedic theory, including the 5-elemental theory, tri-doshic theory, and the six tastes of Ayurvedic nutrition and herbalism. We'll discuss Ayurvedic constitutional types and introduce how to assess client constitution in clinical practice. In addition, we'll discuss case examples of how different constitutional types often relate to the clinical intake process and protocols given. Who needs more “hand-holding” and baby steps? Who needs more explanation and evidence? Who’s likely to try to do it all from the beginning and then burn out and disengage? How can you keep your clients motivated so they’re likely to get results and have a positive experience? Come gain more confidence in applying Ayurvedic theory in your practice. Learn how to become more effective in relating to and communicating with your clients in a way that keeps them engaged in the healing process.

Tesia Love is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner from Charlotte, NC where she practices as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, Clinical Herbalist, 500-hr Registered Yoga Teacher and Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist. She first started studying Ayurveda over 20 years ago, and has spent the past ten years professionally helping her clients transform their health through this profound science. Tesia is a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda (CCA), Duke Integrative Medicine’s Integrative Health Coach training, and numerous other continuing education/mentorship programs with teachers of Ayurveda and herbalism.
